Challenges

Before transitioning to SANeForce field force automation software, Mercury Laboratories Ltd. faced significant challenges with their previous vendor. The primary issue was the lack of a robust Geo-fencing feature, which was crucial for their operational needs. The existing system fell short in integrating this functionality with their pharma field force automation software, hampering their ability to efficiently manage and track field activities. This gap led to inefficiencies in location-based services and data collection, affecting the overall effectiveness of their mobile operations.

Implementation of SANeForce Field Force Automation Software

At SANeForce, we implemented our pharma SFA software for Mercury Laboratories Ltd., customizing it to address their unique operational needs.

We tailored the sample dispatch system to track the remaining sample inventory after Medical Representatives (MRs) distributed samples.

For their Day Wise reports, we integrated a custom headquarter parameter to suit their specific reporting needs.

We also modified the Daily Call Report (DCR) dump for easier data management and restructured the doctor category section from a dropdown to a horizontal classification for better usability.

One thing that is needed the most is the secondary sales module, which helped them in monitoring the sales activity. This module gives the utmost details of the products along with its quantity, rate, and units that have been sold. Analysis can be taken by reviewing probability of stocks manufactured to stocks sold to sub-stockiests.

Additionally, distinct performance reports were designed for MRs visiting the same stockiest but promoting products from different divisions, with data categorized by division and stockiest name (e.g., “Suresh-Gyno”).

Lastly, we enabled the upload of their classified VIP doctor list, segmented by division, as per the data provided.

The implementation of our pharma SFA software brought several key benefits to Mercury Laboratories Ltd. Customization of the sample dispatch system improved inventory tracking, ensuring precise management of sample distribution.

The tailored Day Wise reports with the added headquarter parameter enhanced reporting accuracy, while modifications to the DCR dump streamlined data management. The horizontal classification of the doctor category improved user visibility and navigation. Separate performance reports for MRs ensured clear tracking of division-specific activities, and the efficient upload of the VIP doctor list further optimized data segmentation and field operations.
