What Is Our Tour Planning Feature?

The Tour Planning feature provides a structured system to create, manage, and approve field tour plans through a calendar-driven workflow. It allows medical representatives to define daily work by work type and cluster, submit complete tour plans for approval, and track past and upcoming plans - while giving managers visibility and control before execution.

How It Works - A Structured Tour Planning & Approval Flow

Medical representatives create tour plans through a calendar where every date must be filled. Each date carries a status, ensuring complete and disciplined planning.

For each date, reps select the work type, assign the cluster, add remarks, and plan doctor, chemist, stockist, or joint calls for field work.

Additional sessions can be added for the same day, such as an evening activity with a different work type or cluster.

Saved entries are reflected on the calendar, clearly marking planned dates. Week-offs are set automatically based on configuration.

Tour plans can be submitted only after all required dates are completed. Status updates to approval pending for manager review.

Data syncs automatically after submission. Approved tour plans are visible to both managers and medical representatives, along with access to past and upcoming plans.
